Kg Jeruju, Jerlun, Kedah
Kg Jeruju was a village in the middle of the paddy field, it is a homestay style hotel organized by the local agriculture agency. Although is in the middle of the paddy field but it is also very close to the sea. Imagine that!
As you can see, there are fishermen boats at the local quay. If you look closely, the quay is just beside the paddy field. Neat isn't it. Well if you ever drop by the state of Kedah, do visit this homestay.

Tasoh Lake Resort
Kedah trip 2009
Do you know what is a paddy field? A paddy field is what rice comes from.
It's located in the Asian country and Malaysia is one of them. This is a paddy field in the northern state of Malaysia that is Kedah.
Paddy has just been planted, takes about 4 months to ripe.
Ok, this is the Paddy Museum also know in Bahasa Melayu "Muzium Padi".
Its give you a brief overview of paddy from A - Z. The main attraction is the 360 degress of perspective mural. Sort of a virtual overview of Kedah on top of Mount Keriang. It has a movable spinning platform. The mural itself is very cleverly perspective to the human eye. It takes Korean artist and engineers 2 years to study & research and 6 months of mural painting. A brainchild of Tun Dr Mahathir.
