Perlis Indera Kayangan ( quite a controversial name for a state...)

Ferry to Langkawi Island...Free parking of your car at Wan's house which is just a few kilometres away.
Wan treat me to a local dish of Perlis known as Laksa Perlis, its a kind of a pasta made from rice and serve with soup made-up of fish stew. ( sort of..)
You can add hard boiled egg, soy sauce and lemon for flavour.

In a Eidul Fitri mood, no shop is open but we manage to find one.

The seller said the laksa use to measure by "chap"..
3 chap equals to one bowl of laksa which is 2.50 in Malaysian ringgit.

The laksa soup, note the fish is boiled and will be grind later.

Wow, taste great! but before that Wan brings me sightseeing around Kuala Perlis.

My wife luvs it and Wan was adding some soy sauce.

My kids were ask to help in preparing the "ketupat", another MUST local dish for Eidul Fitri in Malaysia!
To all muslims blogger and visitors, Happy Eid Mubarak / Eidul Fitri.
